The cemtery takes its name from a nearby farm which was called Ferme des douze Bonniers and the military name was R.E. Farm. It has 179 burials of which 168 are identified.
It was made by the amalgamation of the No1 cemetery on the east side of the farm and the No2 on the west side. Both were started by 1st Dorsets
