The Largest British War Cemetery in the world with over 11,800 graves. There is also a Memorial containing nearly 35,000 names of Men who have no known grave after 15th August 1917.
The Northumberland Fusiliers thought the bunkers looked like Tyneside cottages, hence the name, Tyne Cot.
